The producer is the architect of a film's journey from page to screen. At Indie Matter, producers are creative partners — involved in story development, the attachment of key talent, financing strategy, and the delivery of the finished film. We look for producers who can balance creative intelligence with commercial pragmatism: who understand what a project needs artistically and how to assemble the infrastructure to make it happen. Independent producing in the UK is not for the faint-hearted, and the producers we want to work with wear that as a badge of honour.

Yes. We are always open to conversations about projects in development. Register and include a brief outline of what you are working on.
Do you work with debut producers?
We consider debut producers who have a strong existing creative relationship with a writer or director and a clear project in hand.
