Actors are the living centre of everything Indie Matter makes. The characters on our pages need performers who can inhabit them with specificity, vulnerability, and authority — not actorly mechanics, but genuine human truth delivered for camera. We work with performers at all stages of their careers, from established names to recent drama school graduates, and we make our decisions based on the work and the match to the character, not the length of the CV. Our projects are character-driven and dialogue-rich, and we look for actors who read a script carefully and come to the room with a considered view of who they are playing.
